Privacy & Data Handling Notice

Effective Date: October 2026 · Entity: Northvale Legal Advisory

1. Scope of This Privacy Notice

This Privacy Policy explains how Northvale Legal (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information collected when you browse this website or submit a preliminary inquiry through our online contact form.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit an inquiry via our contact page, we collect only the fields necessary to evaluate conflicts of interest and respond to your request:

  • Your full name, email address, and optional telephone number;
  • The practice area category selected for your inquiry;
  • The high-level summary of your matter and your acknowledgement of our intake terms;
  • A short-lived, cryptographically keyed hash of the requesting network address used strictly for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

3. Purpose of Processing & Pre-Engagement Status

We process inquiry records solely to conduct preliminary conflict-of-interest checks, determine whether your matter falls within our practice areas, and communicate with you about potential next steps. Submitting information through this website does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Please do not transmit confidential, privileged, or time-sensitive documents until we confirm conflict clearance and execute a written engagement letter.

4. Data Retention & Access Controls

Preliminary inquiry records that do not proceed to a formal engagement are scheduled for review and deletion after 180 days unless applicable legal or regulatory obligations require a different retention period. Access to intake records inside our content management system is restricted to authorized Owner and Intake personnel under role-based access control.

5. Privacy Contact & Configuration Status

Privacy inquiry contact details are awaiting owner configuration in SiteSettings. For privacy or data-handling requests, please submit a request via the Contact page.
